Angels’ Love Foundation has been established within the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan as a project to raise funds for food, clothing, and school supplies for orphanages in the Dominican Republic.
After many years of traveling to the Dominican Republic and witnessing the abject poverty, Marilyn Perillo dedicated her life to helping the children in these orphanages. Unlike in the United States, the orphanages in the Dominican Republic do not receive any government aid. There is no public assistance and typically parents either die from lack of medical assistance or are unable to care for their children. Often the children are brought to the orphanages where there is no foster care, or adoptions allowed, the children are only helped through volunteer efforts. Through her own time and money, Marilyn continually ships food, clothing, and school supplies to the orphanages.
Marilyn was inspired by her friend, Miledy de la Cruz, to establish the Angels’ Love Foundation. For over thirty years, Miledy de la Cruz has been an integral part of the volunteer efforts and lives in the Dominican Republic.
The Angels’ Love Foundations immediate needs are to raise enough money and supplies to aid the children in the orphanages. The long term vision is to assure these orphanages that Angels’ Love Foundation is committed to the well-being of the children, their education, their health, and their happiness. Marilyn believes that every child needs to know there is someone that cares, “On the Wings of Love May Every Child Fly.”

Supplies Donations:
The orphanages are in desperate need of supplies. You can help the children by donating new or gently used: summer clothing, shoes, sandals, sneakers, school supplies, household items. Angels’ Love Foundation ships these items bimonthly for distribution to the orphanages.
