The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County Endowment Fund was recently established within the Community Foundation to support the new CCE Education Center and 4-H Park Program and all programs available through Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County.
Since 1915, Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County (CCE-OC) has linked university research, knowledge, and experiential learning to the needs and issues facing Orange County residents. CCE-OC enables people to improve their lives and communities by bringing local experience and research-based solutions together. CCE-OC creates measurable change in order to positively affect Agriculture, Families, Youth, Environment, and Economic Development within communities.
“We are thrilled to provide long term giving opportunities for supporters of CCEOC by partnering with Community Foundation,” stated Cornell Cooperative Extension Executive Director Lucy T. Joyce. “Community Foundation will manage and grow funds which will continue to benefit the residents of Orange County improving the quality of life for years to come.”
