Nonprofits Establish Funds with Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan
The following nonprofit agencies have established a nonprofit Agency Endowment Fund within the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan to serve as a permanent endowment for their programs and operations: · Occupations, Inc. · Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands · INSPIRE – Bill Devitt’s Dream for Inspire Fund · YWCA Orange County The Community Foundation helps individuals, businesses and organizations establish permanent charitable funds that award grants and scholarships forever. More than 120 charitable funds, created since 2000, have awarded over $6.4 million in grants in the areas of land preservation, education, health & human services, youth development, the arts and culture.
