The Matt De Martin Legacy Foundation was established to honor Matthew R. De Martin, who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on October 10th, 2021 in Montgomery, NY at the age of 28.  Matt was a motorcycle enthusiast and technician, and lover of the road – Matt’s full time job was trucking with J.P Express out of New Windsor, NY.  

The Matt De Martin Legacy Foundation aims to support riders of all skill levels. We raise money to issue scholarships that support the Basic Rider Courses 1 & 2, and Advanced Rider Course through Motorcycle Training Solutions, Inc. in Newburgh, NY.  

The classes are held April through October, and teach current and aspiring riders skills essential to road sharing and safety.  There are licensing options as well for those seeking their motorcycle license.  The skills learned in these classes are invaluable, and can be the difference between life & death. Our mission is to ensure that every rider we road share with has the tools and education they need to create the safest riding experiences, despite the changing road sharing conditions and rider skill level. We avidly support riders of all skill levels and motorcycle types.  Two & Three wheel courses available for all skill levels!
