DONATE TO A FUND

Dutchess-Orange Tutoring Fund

Date Established: April 28, 2021

The Dutchess-Orange Tutoring Fund will distribute funds to cover costs associated with providing tutoring to K-12 students in Orange and Dutchess counties. Dutchess-Orange Tutoring (DOT) is an organization that connects K-12 students enrolled in local public school districts with volunteer high school students, undergraduates, and graduate students interested in community service and teaching through 1-on-1 virtual tutoring. DOT strives to serve higher-risk student populations or students likely to have disproportionate access to educational resources, including students from low-income backgrounds, students in homes where English is not a first language, and students who struggle from other learning difficulties at home. Broadly, the organization works to combat exacerbated inequities in local communities, particularly for youth.
