Contributions may be made, and are gratefully accepted, at any time to any one of the charitable funds administered by the Community Foundation. They may be mailed to our office or immediate donations can be made online through the Foundation’s secure website.

Agency Endowment
Created by the forward-thinking boards of each agency represented below, agency endowment funds are established to create a vehicle for immediate and planned gifts that will support their programs, operations and provide for their long-term sustainability. Gifts of cash, bequests, real estate, securities, life insurance, retirement assets, and tangible assets to these funds are encouraged and welcomed by the agencies listed below.

Designated
Established to support a specific charity or charities.

Donor Advised
Established to support different charities each year that the donor may recommend.

Field of Interest
Established to support a specific area of need, such as education, health and human services, arts, animal protection, the environment, etc.

Project Funds

            

Scholarships
Support deserving young people and other students realize their dreams of higher education or career training.

Fiscal Sponsorships
The Board of Directors and Staff of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan may choose to provide fiscal sponsorship for tax-exempt, charitable projects that further the purposes of the Foundation. The primary beneficiaries of sponsorship services are typically new charities without an IRS determination letter and community groups planning a specific, finite project that is clearly charitable in nature and in furtherance of the charitable purposes of the Foundation.
