Date Established: April 1, 2024

The purpose of this fund is to accept donations and cover expenses for an annual safe and sober all-night party for graduating seniors at Wallkill High School, on graduation night. This event is run entirely by parent volunteers with generous support from community and family members, along with donations from local business and organizations. It is not funded or organized by the school district. Every dollar must be raised.

Senior Celebration typically includes:

In the cafeteria: a DJ and dancing, as well as food & refreshments, and ice cream sundaes before an AMAZING Bingo Bonanza that culminates the evening from 3-5 AM with cash and other great prizes;
In the Gymnasium: Sports. like volleyball, basketball, and badminton, as well as picnic games like corn hole and can jam, and a giant inflatable
In the auditorium: a hypnotist, at 2 AM
In the foyer: a photo booth, karaoke, and Henna temporary tattoos/face painting
Out Back: An ever-popular GIANT Slip n Slide, hosted by a local fire department, and a dunking booth (bring a bathing suit and towel)
In the Raffle Rooms: A plethora of prizes for each attendee to take a chance at winning – Items for anyone headed off to college, starting an apartment or career, or joining the military. Prizes may include mini fridges, microwaves, laundry baskets and/or hampers filled with new towels; JBL speakers, linens and pillows; Keurig coffee pots; NutriBullet/Ninja smoothie makers; fans, electric toothbrushes, and other small appliances; and a variety of gift cards for local restaurants, department stores, gas, and more;
In the Main Lobby: Big Ticket Prizes with chances to win things like: Beats headphones, AirPods, MacBook Air, Apple Watch, Chromebooks, luggage, iPads, and big dollar gift cards to department stores;
In the Classrooms: A movie and relaxation lounge (bring a camping chair, blanket, pjs, and a pillow); lively electronic trivia (always a huge hit); and
In the Teacher’s Lounge: board games and Twister
