The Orange and Sullivan Community Perspective Fund was established by the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan (CFOS) in 2024 as a vehicle to collect donations and distribute grants to organizations based in our catchment area that are working to promote equity. Equity means recognizing that we do not all start from the same place and must acknowledge and make adjustments to imbalances. CFOS is committed to this work, and this fund is an extension of our ongoing growth in this area.

This fund accepts contributions from a variety of supporters including private foundations, individuals and area businesses. Annual grants are distributed each Winter and applications are reviewed by the CFOS Community Perspective Committee. 

It is intended that the fund and group will continue to grow and adapt to the changing needs of our community based on feedback, experience and time. We welcome input from all community members and encourage participation from all, either through donating or promoting availability of funding.
