The Historical Society of the Walden and Wallkill Valley Fund is devoted to the preservation of local history while maintaining the Jacob T. Walden House and the Shafer House Museum.  With no state or federal support, the organization is volunteer led and run and relies on contributions from the community to sustain its mission.  This fund was established to help the Historical Society sustain its future.
