Safe Homes of Orange County, Inc. Endowment Fund was recently established within the Community Foundation to provide support for programs and services of Safe Homes of Orange County, Inc.
Safe Homes of Orange County is a private, not-for-profit agency established in 1986 to provide comprehensive and confidential domestic violence services to victims and their families. Safe Homes offers many programs and services such as the Orange County Family Justice Center, Children’s Programs, Teen Dating Violence Prevention Programs, Emergency Shelters, and more.
About the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan:
The Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, is celebrating its 15th year of charitable leadership and philanthropy. The Foundation has significantly increased local charitable funds and empowered donors to make a profound difference in the quality of life in our region with the creation of over 180 funds that will provide grants and scholarships forever! Since 1999, the Foundation has been an effective steward of the community’s charitable resources and has been a leader in the administration of scholarships, and grant making for the benefit of nonprofit organizations in Orange and Sullivan Counties, and beyond.
