Event will support services for children in the foster care/adoption system.
MONTGOMERY, NY (May 1, 2023) – Adopting T.H.E.O. is excited to announce their first Annual Casino Night on May 23 at The Venue at Winding Hills in Montgomery from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A special night of complementary cocktails, hors d’oeuvre stations, dessert, a silent auction, and a bunch of super surprises is planned; and it’s all to benefit a great cause.
The Adopting T.H.E.O. Foundation, a component fund established at the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, supports charitable initiatives related to adoption and foster care. This includes scholarships for those in the foster care system or who have been adopted and support services for those in the foster care/adoption system such as care packages for Gotcha Day, ‘Go Bags’ for children, educational programs for foster/adopted parents and more.
“Through adoption we were showered with an overwhelming amount of generosity from this amazing community,” said Phil Hopkins, Adopting T.H.E.O. Foundation Co-founder. “We want to pay that kindness forward by hosting fun events for the community that will fund the big and little things that make a difference for children in the foster care/adoption system.”

Various levels have been established to recognize Casino Night supporters. With each level of sponsorship – High Roller, Whale, Pitt Boss, Table, and Railbird – sponsors receive complimentary tickets, advertising at the event, on the foundation website, and social media platforms along with mentions at the podium.
