Monticello, NY – Laura Doherty and Lena Episalla are the 2015 recipients of the Blake and Dorothy Washington Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each. Lena, Valedictorian, and Laura, Salutatorian, are both 2015 graduates of Monticello High School both will be attending Harvard University this fall.

Established through the will of Dorothy Washington, the Blake and Dorothy Washington Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to graduating students at Monticello High School who plan to pursue studies at a recognized institute of higher learning and exhibit attributes of scholastic achievement, character, integrity and industriousness.
