KM DW SCH. REC.The Community Foundation is celebrating its 15th year of charitable leadership and philanthropy in connecting people who care with causes that matter. The generosity of those who have given through the Community Foundation in its 15-year history has resulted in the creation of nearly 200 individual charitable funds that have awarded over $7 million in grants and scholarships. In 2014 alone, over $177,000 in scholarships were awarded to students in 25 school districts throughout Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Rockland County from scholarship funds which the Foundation administers.

In 2014, in order to accommodate the growing demand for the Community Foundation’s services in the region, the Foundation moved from a suite in the Orange County Chamber of Commerce Business Center to a larger suite to provide expanded services for donors. This year the Foundation also launched a new website
