Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan Announces Return of Annual Reception

John Rath and Foster Supply Hospitality will receive the David T. Cocks Commitment to Community Award

MONTGOMERY, NY (August 22, 2022) – The always highly anticipated and well attended Community Foundation Annual Reception will return this year! The Community Foundation (CFOS) hosts this one and only fundraiser to support its operating budget.

Unlike in years past, the event will be held on October 12, 2022, under the tent at West Hills Country Club.

“We’re excited to bring back our signature event but chose to move it to an outdoor venue for the maximum comfort of our guests,” said Nicole Feller Lee, CFOS Director of Marketing and Communications. “West Hills Country Club in lovely October weather provides the perfect setting for hundreds of philanthropic individuals from Orange and Sullivan counties to celebrate a successful year of giving!

John Rath and Foster Supply Hospitality will be honored at the reception with the David T. Cocks Commitment to Community Award.

“Our 2022 honorees lead by example, making significant contributions to enrich the lives of others through their dedication to multiple charities and causes as community leaders and corporate philanthropists,” said Elizabeth Rowley, CFOS President and CEO.  “We look forward to celebrating their success, and ours, too!”

Since its humble beginnings in 1999, the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan has grown by leaps and bounds, forever expanding the pool of philanthropic capital for our region by working with charitable people, businesses, and organizations to support worthy causes. Through effective stewardship, its more than 360 charitable funds have distributed more than $25 million in grants to support areas of education and scholarships, health and human services, animal welfare, arts and culture, recreation, the environment, veterans, youth services, and more.
