Monticello, NY – The Peter H. Cahalan Scholarship Fund will be hosting a deep sea fishing trip on Thursday, July 16, 2015. The trip is limited to 45 guests so please register by July 1. The cost is $100 which includes coach bus, beverages, and tips for bus and boat. Please bring your own picnic lunch. The bus will leave from Thompson Square Mall at 5:00 a.m.

The Peter H. Cahalan Scholarship Fund was recently created by his family and friends to honor his memory and celebrate his life. Peter was an avid sportsman since childhood whose commitment to his home of Monticello and Sullivan county residents as a banker and his volunteerism. This fund will award scholarships to Sullivan County graduating seniors planning on attending a two or four year college and majoring in either finance or a sports related field and also has a commitment to their community.
