Firefighters Burn Fund Established within the Community Foundation

The Firefighters Burn Fund was recently established within the Community Foundation to provide support for educational and burn prevention programming in Orange, Ulster, Dutchess, and Sullivan County. This includes equipment, supplies, and specialized training of burn care personnel within the four county region. Rick Lewis, Chairman of the Firefighters Burn Fund, states “We are very pleased to have the Firefighters Burn Fund administered by the Community Foundation. We anticipate this relationship with CFOS will provide much more educational programming for burn prevention and will further support the mission of the Firefighters Burn Fund.”

About the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan:
