Forgotten Women and Children’s Relief Fund established with support of Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan

For Immediate Release:

The Forgotten Women and Children’s Relief Fund has been established by Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Schlossberg through the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan.  The Fund will support a cause that is near and dear to the Schlossberg family. It will provide grants to nonprofit organizations that support projects, plans and programs which focus on educational, vocational and health services for women and children.

A recent grant has been facilitated through the Forgotten Women and Children’s Relief Fund to the National Vulvodynia Association for research for treatment of pain and “cure” or “cause of disease” and to the Hour Children Program at Taconic Correctional Facility to help support nursery management for women and children at the facility.

The Forgotten Women and Children’s Relief Fund is facilitated through the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, a 501(c)(3) public charity that was created to help individuals, organizations, and businesses establish charitable endowments within their community.  To make a contribution to this Fund, donate to an existing fund, or to fulfill your own charitable dreams, please visit the foundation’s secure website at www.cfoc-ny.org or contact Karen VanHouten Minogue, Executive Director at (845) 769-9393 or e-mail vanhouten@cfoc-ny.org.
