Newburgh, NY- Independent Living recently added $10,000 to the Independent Living, Inc. Fund administered by the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan. The $10,000 addition represents good fiscal and prudent management on behalf of the board and staff of Independent Living. Created by its forward-thinking board, this agency endowment fund was established by Independent Living with the Community Foundation in 2001 to create a vehicle for immediate and planned gifts that will support Independent Living’s programs, operations, and provide for the agency’s long-term financial sustainability.
