From the desk of Karen Minogue
Dear Friend of the Community Foundation,
A decade ago, I was privileged to have been chosen to lead the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan. Thanks to your generosity and commitment, together we have achieved enormous success in those 10 years. Because you are an important member of our Community Foundation family, I wanted to share with you, personally, that I will be leaving my position at the Foundation effective October 16.
My husband, Mike, retired last year. Since 2010, we have owned a vacation home in South Carolina. Our dream has been to make our Southern home our full-time residence. That dream has become a reality. Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina has selected me to lead the development efforts at its affiliate, the Waccamaw Community Foundation, which is located just 5 miles from our home. I am honored to have been selected and look forward to continuing this work that I love.
The executive committee of Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan’s Board of Directors has unanimously selected Director of Development, Elizabeth Rowley, as the best possible candidate to succeed me. Having worked with Elizabeth for the past two years, I am confident that she is fully prepared to take the reins and has the skills to take the Foundation to even greater heights.
Thank you again for all you do to support the Community Foundation and our communities.I have learned much from you, and have been inspired daily by your compassion and generosity.
Best regards always,
