Orange County, NY – The Charles Van I Cuddeback Fund and the Leonard Weissman Educational Fund, two designated endowment funds administered by the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, recently awarded grants to the Neversink Valley Area Museum totaling $3,459. The Cuddeback Fund and Weissman Fund award annual grants to the Museum for school programs, educational lectures, and general operating costs.

The mission of the Neversink Valley Area Museum, a not-for-profit organization, is to preserve, document, and interpret the history of the Neversink River Valley of Orange County, from its beginnings to the present, through exhibitions, educational programs and publications for children and adults; and the acquisition, preservation and restoration of artifacts and historic sites.

Contributions to The Charles Van I Cuddeback Fund and the Leonard Weissman Educational Fund may be made at any time to CFOS-The Charles Van I Cuddeback Fund or CFOS-Leonard Weissman Educational Fund and sent to the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, 30 Scott’s Corners Drive, Suite 202, Montgomery, NY 12549.
