The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan Announces $10,000 in Make a Difference grants available to local 501c3 organizations

Organizations addressing emerging social and emotional needs of area residents are encouraged to apply for funding

MONTGOMERY, NY (August 19, 2021) – The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan (CFOS)is now accepting applications for its 2021 Make a Difference grants. Two grants of up to $5,000 will be distributed, one to a nonprofit organization in Orange County and the second to a nonprofit organization in Sullivan County.

This year, the fund will support organizations that are providing services to address emerging social and emotional needs of residents in Orange and Sullivan counties to include, but not exclusively in the areas of mental health and opioid/substance use disorders.

Applications must be received by September 30, 2021. Awards will be announced in December. Grant applications are available on the Community Foundation website at www.cfosny.org.
