The Michael Ryan Zodda Foundation awards $20,000 Grant

The Michael Ryan Zodda (MRZ) Foundation administered by the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, recently awarded a $20,000 grant to the University of California San Francisco Foundation to support research on vascular malformations of the brain. The Michael Ryan Zodda Foundation was created to honor and memorialize Michael, who passed away on July 2, 2010, at the age of 25 while bicycling.

Michael Ryan Zodda was a strong passionate person who touched the lives of many people. The purpose of the MRZ Foundation is to celebrate the memory of an extraordinary young man and find the cure for AVM  and blood clotting disorders.
