The Richard P. O’Beirne Memorial Foundation has been established as a component charitable fund of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan by family and friends to honor and memorialize the late Richard P. O’Beirne.

Richard O’Beirne, businessman and philanthropist left a local legacy.  Richard was best known as executive director of the Construction Contractors Association of the Hudson Valley who also served on numerous boards including that of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan.  Those who knew Richard well speak of a philanthropist who felt a strong obligation to give back to his community.

Through the Richard P. O’Beirne Memorial Foundation grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations that advance humanitarian need and economic growth in the Hudson Valley.

The Richard P. O’Beirne Memorial Foundation is facilitated through the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, a 501(c)(3) public charity that was created to help individuals, organizations, and businesses establish charitable endowment funds to benefit their community.  To make a gift to this Fund, please make check payable to CFOS-Richard P.
