The Ecumenical Food Pantry in Narrowsburg provides food for those families in need, living within a ten miles radius of the pantry. Narrowsburg is in western Sullivan County, which has the highest rate of poverty in the Hudson Valley and a Food Insecurity rate of 10.7%. Over fifty registered families receive a monthly allotment of canned and dry foods from the Pantry, and weekly access to donated foods. In addition there are thrice yearly holiday handouts. The Pantry is open every Thursday from 4.30 to 5.30 pm, and is located in the church hall at at the back of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 151 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg. Food donations can be dropped off at the Pantry or at Pete’s Market in Narrowsburg.
